(Ding Jialing, He Chengda, the reporter) On July 31, the Intermediary Contest in Hubei Province of the Fifth China College Students' "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held at Hubei University of Technology, and our university won 6 gold, 5 silver and 5 copper medals, and won two Best of the Best awards and three outstanding creative awards in the 2nd "I Dream - Creators in Chu".

This contest opened in April, and the works entering the competition and the students participating the contest amount to 40,800 and 174,000, respectively. After the preliminary contest of the provincial preliminary contest and review in conference, 37 recommended projects and 11 items of our school entered the provincial preliminary contests to contest for the Gold Award and the admission ticket for the national championship. During the gold metal competition and qualifying tournament, all the 6 items of our university stand out with high scores and won the gold medal of the provincial preliminary contest. Among them, "Handheld Ultrasound Device" from Hu Zeyi Team, "Amyson" from Zhang Lianglv Team, "Latent Whistle at Low Level" from Yang Jianxuan Team and "Chitosan Surgical Dressing" from Xia Tian Team won the gold medal of the major contest of higher education institution, while the "Food Security Is Relying on Ourselves" from Jiang Weihua Team and "Magical Classrom in the Montain" from Ji Wenxuan Team won the gold medal of "The Tour of Red Dream Building of Youth" contest.

The "Handheld Ultrasound Device" project in the Growth Group of the major contest of higher education institution improved the traditional ultrasonic technology for improving the quality of imaging by upgrading the chips, made innovative design and worked out a new circuit arrangement, successfully solved the energy consumption problems and developed the tiny ultrasound with realized low-energy consumption, low cost, high quality. It has applied 19 intellectual property rights, and has acquired the CE certification of Technischer Überwachungs-Verein (TUV), ISO13485 certification and the domestic CFDA certification. The Brazil ANVISA certification is pending and the USA FDA certification is in the process of preparation. Q7 series of the third generation has been put into use in 60 countries and districts of the five continents.

The "Chitosan Surgical Dressing" project in the Innovation Group of the major contest of higher education institution may dissolve the chitosan by the improved potassium hydroxide/urea and water dissolution system in low temperature, and introduce the quaternary ammonium salt into the chitin skeleton by "one-pot method", and has successfully compounded the chitin of quaternary ammonium salt with effective antibacterial properties and the effect of promoting wound healing, and finally developed the Medical Chitosan Surgical Dressing with the help of wet spinning technique.

Depend on the research achievements for more than 20 years of the State Key Laboratory of Hybrid Rice of Wuhan University, and based on the principle of "Give Everyone A Bowl of Safe Food ", The "Food Security Is Relying on Ourselves" project in the Commercial Group of "The Tour of Red Dream Building of Youth" has the world's largest number of patents related to resistance to brown planthopper and three variety rights, has established the first insect resistant technology company, stipulated the industrial standards for Hubei province, and aimed at transfer the laboratory investigation into market products. By providing the seed of hybrid rice with high quality and rice planthopper property, this project may reduce the loss of farmers and provide the consultation services for free, and provide guides on cultivating paddy scientifically for farms, thus realize the revitalization of rural.

Our university attaches great importance to the innovation of entrepreneurship education work all the time, and has founded the innovation entrepreneurship training camp for preparing the China College Students' "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The senior and industry experts, well-known investors have been invited to host the subject training around the preparation of business plans, PPT skills, road show exercise and other procedures, and the projects participating the contest has been considered and altered for several times to improve the level and innovative entrepreneurial ability of the general teachers and students.

It is reported that after the intermediary contest, the organization committee of Hubei province will choose the superior projects to participate the national finals hosted in October at Zhejiang University from the projects winning gold medals in accordance with the quota assigned by the organizing committee of the national competition.
