Yuzhen, Vice President of the College, Zhang Fang, Director of the Teaching Management Office of the Undergraduate College of Wuhan University, Zhou Lichao, Director of the Undergraduate Work Office of the College, Lancao, Vice Director of the Undergraduate Teaching Management Office, All Undergraduate Counselors, All Teaching Secretaries and All Undergraduates of the College in 2019 participated in the meeting, and the meeting was presided over by Wang Fang, Director of the Office of Teaching Management.

At the beginning of the conference , Vice President Yu Zhen warmly welcomed the arrival of all freshmen. From the perspective of "Universities In Everyone's Eyes", he proposed that we would adhere to the " Student-Oriented " school-running concept and cultivate outstanding new business talents with international vision, humanistic feelings and innovative spirit. We will provide the students with high quality teaching resources, we hope the students in the loose academic environment, superior teaching conditions, strong learning atmosphere, give full play to the initiative of cherish the learning resources, improve yourselves, at the same time, in the future should be clear direction, acquire wisdom and skills, learn to make choices and plan reasonably. President Yu's speech is vivid and humorous, revealing the ardent expectation and care for the freshmen of Grade 2019.

Then, Zhang Fang, director of the Teaching Management Office of the Undergraduate College of Wuhan University, comprehensively interpreted Wuhan University from four parts: the concept of undergraduate talent training, general education 3.0, three-semester system, teaching management and academic guidance, surrounding the credit system reform, course selection, test, performance management, the graduation thesis, pushing from graduate students, comprehensive interpretation of the Wuhan University undergraduate course personnel training plan. Wang Fang, director of the Office of Undergraduate Teaching Management of the College, interpreted the talent training program of the 2018 edition of the Department of Economics and Management. Lancao, vice director, explained the regulations of the school's status management, the relevant contents of graduation and the award of bachelor's degree.

After the course selection and guidance conference, the College held lectures on the selection of Economics Base Classes, Undergraduate Experimental Classes and Financial Engineering Majors in Grade 2019 of the College of Economics and Management. Assistant Professor Hu Hui, Vice-Chairman of the Department of Economics, and Assistant Professor Song Lingfeng, Vice-Chairman of the Department of Finance, delivered lectures to students of major economic categories. Professor Hu Hui introduced in detail the background, achievements and advantages of Wuhan University's National Economics Foundation Training Base. Professor Song Lingfeng introduced the basic situation of the Department of Finance from four aspects: teaching staff, award-winning situation, academic research and personnel training, and explained in detail the training objectives, requirements, methods, enrollment and basic conditions of the International Financial Experimental Class and the Financial Engineering Majors to the students.

     After two hours, and the College's Grade 2019 Undergraduate Learning Guidance Conference, 2019 Economics Base Classes, 2019 Undergraduate Experimental Classes and Financial Engineering Majors Selection Seminar were ended successfully. After the conference, the students were still in the mood and had in-depth interaction with the teachers present on relevant issues. It is reported that this activity is one of the series of activities of the College's undergraduate learning guidance day in the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020.
