Wuhan University: The Biggest Winner in the Prize for College Teaching Achievement of Hubei Province

Lately, the Hubei Provincial Department of Education has released the list of the Prize for College Teaching Achievement of Hubei Province. In all, 44 of them go to Wuahn University, with 24 being the first prize, 14 the second prize, and 6 the third prize. In addition, Wuhan University ranks the first in terms of the total number and that of first prize in Hubei Province.

All 24 of the 1stprizes are attributed to 20 schools(or departments) and affiliated units: 2 fromSchool of Chinese Language and Literature,School of Electrical Engineering,School of Computer Science,School of Geodesy and Geomatics, respectively; one fromSchool of Foreign Languages and Literature,School of History,School ofEconomics and Management,School of Law,School of Information Management, School of Life Sciences,School of Resources and Environmental Sciences,School of Power and Mechanical Engineering,School of Water Resources and Hydroelectric Engineering,School of Electronic Information,School of Printing and Packaging,School of Public Health,Second School of Clinical Medicine (Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan Univeristy), Faculty of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Sports, andDepartment of Undergraduate Education, respectively. The above-mentioned, fulfilled independently, covers such fields as economics, law, education, arts, history, science, engineering, medical, science, management science.

Held every four years, the Prize has been playing an important role in giving full play to our party’s education principles and prioritizing the cultivation of talents. This time, 200 items for the 1stprize to the 3rdprize respectively stand out.
