Course Introduction on Construction Management

  Introduction of Construction Management: according to the prediction of international industrials, by 2050, the capacity of hydropower plant will be 2×10⁹kW, twice of 10⁹kW that is the figure of 2015. It indicates a new wave of infrastructure construction. With the developing overseas share of Chinese construction industrial, so it is will be a trend that the education for meeting the requirements of the international construction markets. Hence, a course system named construction management should be carried up, which features original western textbook, complete English teaching, western teaching methods, aims at international management personnel who are familiar with Chinese and western culture and management philosophy.

  By going through hours of this course, the basic knowledge and skill of construction management would be delivered and key issues in construction management could be quickly identified. And further more, have a spot on Chinese and western project management and culture, all the above will form a corner stone of the professional achievement of students.

  The course will last 54 hours, contents include: construction bidding and contracts, project funding and investment management, construction operations and construction simulation, construction labor and safety, construction progress control, and so on.
